First use of the NorOilTools Tubular Cutter for Equinor

NorOilTools installed their Nor Tubular Cutter (NTC) on a frame and connected hydraulic on Equinor’s Deepsea Bergen semi-submersible drilling rig, Huldra 30/2-1

Tasks carried out by the Nor Tubular Cutter:

  • Performed two cuts to part the first length, which was 26 m.

  • Performed two cuts to part the second length, which was 34 m.

The Casing cutter worked as expected.
