Wintershall, Swift 10. 9 ⅝”x7” cemented.

First job for Wintershall, done in The Netherlands on Jack Up Swift 10 Operations executed as per plan. No people in the Red Zone, no need to pin & faster-pulling speed delivering results for the client. The cutter proved to be a cost-effective and efficient solution for the project.

Challenge

On a well for Wintershall NorOiltools was asked to come up with a solution to a challenging P&A operation, which included cutting dual cemented 7" & 9 ⅝” casing

Solution

Several tests with different configuration was done in our workshop. The result was a success. and Wintershall decided to go for our solution as a primary solution.

Result

Minimal rig up/down both in terms of time and equipment. All tubulars cut remotely operated in less than 1 minute per cut. Park to park in less than 3 minutes. Great time and cost savings.
